E-Government Sebagai Bagian Dalam Smart City

Abstract


Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi semakin pesat perkembangannya. Perkembangan tersebut mencakup semua aspek kehidupan. Perkembangan tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian orang untuk menjadikan kehidupannya meningkat kualitasnya. Perkembangan teknologi juga dimanfaatkan pemerintah untuk membangun kota yang pintar sehingga pelayanan yang diterima oleh masyarakat menjadi lebih baik. Perubahan dengan bantuan kemajuan teknologi diharapkan menjadi good government. Pemerintah Indonesia sudah mempunyai strategi kebijakan dalam pengembangan e-government di seluruh lembaga pemerintahan dalam meningkatkan proses penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. Konsep smart city menawarkan sebuah solusi dalam meningkatkan dan mempercepat kebijakan pemerintah untuk mencapai e-government. Banyaknya definisi dan pengertian terhadap istilah smart city dan e-government menjadikan bias pemahaman keduanya. Tulisan ini mencoba menunjukkan kesenjangan pemahaman tersebut dengan memahami definisi smart city dengan menganalisi berdasarkan literatur yang ada
